Marinated Fromage Blanc is packed full of locally sourced olive oil, black peppercorns, bay leaf and a chili pepper. Eat the cheese and save the oil and contents for salad dressing.
Serving & Storing Suggestions:
We recommend refrigerating all our cheeses before/after eating, including the Marinated Fromage Blanc. You will want to remove from the fridge and bring to room temp before eating - typically, this can take 15-30 minutes for the olive oil to re-liquify and makes it much easier to scoop/spread the cheese and olive oil on crackers or bread.
If you don't plan to eat it all in one sitting, you can put back in the fridge and eat again at a later time following the steps above. Try to keep the cheese mostly submerged in the olive oil to keep fresh.
