Stepladder Ranch & Creamery is home to our goat dairy and creamery just off Highway 1 on the Central Coast of California. We focus on making traditional yet innovative, small-batch cheeses with milk from our Lamancha goats. During the goat's off-season, we also make cow's milk cheeses using milk that we source locally from the Dairy Science Program's dairy herd at Cal Poly.

Stepladder Ranch was founded in 1871 and has been family-owned and operated for three generations.
As a farmstead creamery, we raise our goats on the farm and make cheese from their milk – allowing us to manage every aspect of our cheese production.
